Should india agree to the U.S nuclear deal?a debate type answer.please?

  1. Since when did countries with nuclear weapons get bound by "deals?"

    Such negotiations are superficial at best, and exist only for international appeasement and to win political favors.  The cold war years, particularly during the 1980's, were met with many a summit and treaty regarding the arms race; but had either the U.S. or the Soviet Union ever fired a missle at the other, all such "deals" would've been off.

    India could (and probably should) agree to the U.S. nuclear "deal" (or "nucular," as the president says), but it'd only be to establish their political place in a world in which they've only really become modernized during the last two decades.  But don't look for the U.S. or any of the other world powers to look at them with any less-skeptical glances.
