Should it be League or union that disappears?

Question

John O'neil has come out and stated that in the future, there will only be room in Oz for 3 footy codes - AFL, Soccor & one other. What should the one other be?? I think Union as that is what I prefer to watch out of the two (if I had to choose....)

League is losing it's appeal very quickly. The second Sydney AFL team will result in league becoming what union was in the 1970s - a bunch of amateurs playing in front of a few hundred people (instead of a few thousand)

John O'Neill is just another scare monger,  what a load of c**p that is,   all the codes will survive,   especially Aussie Rules because of members, attendances and TV rights.

I watch the wallaby's on TV whenever they play, they are our national team and i support them as i do our league side, AUSTRALIA.  same as the soccerroos or the flaming water polo side,  they belong to all Aussies not just the Nangers who come in here sprouting their s**+ t.

What amazes me is where does all the money come from to send  the union boys to sth africa, new zealand etc in their club games, i don't  see many going to watch those games, (not talking about the international test matches etc),  Aussie rules games get some like 40,000 thousand to an average game,   where does the union and league teams money come from, well the league money is mainly from the under privileged, in their clubs, through the pokies, makes you wonder, huh,  good question, got me thinking of the big picture.

It will survive longer than Aussie Rules. If they had to choose three codes tomorrow it would be league & union, 1 & 2 in that order. Then number three would be Aussie Rules & soccer combined - because Aussie Rules is getting more like soccer every day - with its players diving & feigning injury!

I'd have to say I like League better. It has way more support, and a popular domestic competition. It's also more exciting.

LOL. U prefer 2 watch that c**p instead? u have serious issues! The wallabies would be about 8th best in da world now and over the past years if they didn't have some many league players playing 4 em.

PS. Matt Gitto is awesome! would b as good as Thurston and Prince if he played league
