  1. h**l NO , HE TOOK JIMMIE TO SCHOOL

    WAY TO GO KYLE

  2. I am not a Kyle Busch fan but he won fair and square.  No Jimmie should be happy he ran a good race.  Fought hard til the end.

  3. It is not an illegal move...it has been done countless times...just not with the excitement that Kyle Busch brought to the table!

  4. LOL I dont recall Kyle going under Jimmie before the start/finish line to pass. So no, it was COMPLETELY LEGAL, and its funny that you are whining about how good Kyle is. Now where did I put that bottle.

  5. it may not have been an illegal move, but whats up with kyle's car? they should go through it with a fine tooth comb.....if nothing illegal........y not bump up all cars to the new toyota standards?...they now have 20 more horse power then all of the rest of field, is that fair?

  6. At Daytona it was Kyle's fault for a wreck that happened behind him. I didn't think it could get any lower than that.

Now all of a sudden it's an illegal move when Kyle starts the race despite being in second all the way until turn 1?

That was as legal as can be, and I don't know what you're debating, or how it was illegal in any way. People push the leader to the start all the time. Kyle took a lesson from his short track days and applied them to this race.

I really don't see what Kyle did that was illegal besides following the leader to the green flag, going high in turn one, and clearing Jimmie off turn 4. Sorry I can't give you a better answer, but I don't see how what he did could be considered illegal.

But, if it makes you happy I'll say that every wreck, every blown motor, every flat tire, and everytime someone has a slow pit stop in every race this season, it's all Kyle's fault.

I'll even go as far as to say those 7 wins were Kyle's fault as well!

  7. That's just Mr. 18 s******g Hendrick once again. Instead of going around, he just gives the 48 a big shove. That's OK for a second, but he was doing it all the way down the frontstretch and pretty much doing what his fans love to see him do - be jack ***

  8. yeah, he was mad - that he didn't see it coming.

he was especially mad about that because he's done it before and should have been better prepared. yes, he was very mad, at himself. he said so many, many times. and he also said that he was glad that he felt that their team had finally caught up and could run with the 18. he didn't say "run with the toyotas" and he didn't complain about horsepower.

and somewhere i must have missed something because i haven't yet seen a cup race where even half the top ten were all toyotas.

  9. I HATE BUSH AND CHEVY BUT I WANTED JOHNSON TO WIN I WOULD RATER HAVE CHEVY WIN AND toyota LOOSE  BUT IT WASNT ILLEGAL

  10. it wasn't an illegal move...it was a darn good restart!!

i'm not a kyle fan...but that boy can drive!!!

jimmie even blamed himself, but i don't think he could have done anything to keep kyle back there (other than wreck him).

when the green flag flies it's time to boogie!!!

  11. its not illegal, watch Jimmie do it when he is behind someone, he did it so many times 2 years ago, that people who hated him and Gordon, said that they were cheating.  He was just tring to get a jump on him at the restart, thats all, and when he tried, he got loose in turn 1 going in to turn 2, he would have had him had he not gotten loose.  So in a way it worked but backfired on him too.

Like DW says, long term run, short term gain.

  12. Jimmie was a man about it in his post race interview.  It was not an illegal move on Kyle's part but I think the horsepower advantage is what Jimmie and others are not happy about.  Toyota has had advantages in both the truck and Nationwide series and I think they now have that in the cup series as well.    If this season's total dominance in the Nationwide AND cup series doesn't paint a picture for some of you I guess we just see things differently.  I'm not saying they are doing anything illegal but the power differences between the Toyotas and everyone else is very noticeable.

    3 STR8 N 08!!!

  13. Absolutely not. The rule book says that a driver can pass on the outside on a restart before the start/finish line. Inside passes are illegal. Since Kyle passed to the outside, it was legal, and thus, deserved the race win.

  14. Jimmie stated he was out foxed by Busch, legal?illegal? Each of us will have a different view but NASCARs view is the only one that counts, and they didn't see anything wrong.

  15. it was legal and jimmy knows it.  he timed it just right, kept his foot on tha floor, & went to tha outside.  nothing for jimmy to be mad about, just disapointed.

  16. Even one of Jimmie's most die-hard fans on here was on saying it was a great finish. Had it've been illegal or fishy in any way, I don't think she'd have been so quick to give props to Kyle the way she did.

  17. even if it was illegal I cant see nascar doing anything to Kyle..seems like this kids $hit dont stink right now.

  18. Jimmie Johnson admired "bush" for executing that maneuver on the restart. He even said that (in a roundabout way) in his post race interview.

  19. No he should not. The race leader dictates the start. All of the drivers are going slower and slower to make sure the guy behind him does not get a run on him during the start. When this happens everyone gets bottled up and the pushing starts. All Kyle did was try to anticipate the start. I am not a fan of Kyles  but I did not see that as wrong by the rules.

  20. No, it was not illegal. I have actually seen Jimmie do this before, though I don't recall him being "glued" to the back bumper the way Kyle was, lol. Kyle gave Jimmie credit for the move during his post race interview. Jimmie was mad at himself, for not protecting the high line, but he was not mad at Kyle.

  21. It was legal as they come and no JGR doesnt have no horsepower advantage in cup. PLEASE Kyle just outdrove Jimmie. Give him some credit. You do know Denny and Tony are doing worse in points this season then when they were in the Chevys last season right??

  22. If it were an illegal move NASCAR would have called Kyle to the trailer.

Jimmie got loose all on his own. Kyle got around him.  It was a great move by Kyle and a great save by Jimmie.

  23. It is racing.  There is no reason why jimmie should be mad.  Kyle didn't do an illegal move.  Nobody got wrecked.  Do you think kyle should just let jimmie pull away.  Kyle tried his best to win, and didn't wreck anybody.  Jimmie is a little upset that he let a win get away from him, but he is not blaming kyle busch.  Kyle done nothing wrong

  24. im a jr and i have say toyota  seem to have an advantage but kyle is a great drive . he is carzy he likes his  cars   loose and "loose is fast but on the edge your out of conrol" and rubbens  raceing" (days of tthunder) i love all the contact it makes the  sport more exciting.

  25. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
