Should kids 6, 8, 12 watch shock horror?

I am a single dad, and as you can imagine having 3 young kids is a lot to handle; especially as I like to watch a late night shock horror or cult films. Usually the kids just stay up and watch it with me. Apart from being late to school from staying up past 2 on at least one occasion per week, the movies I have watched with them have had some strange effects which I don`t know if they normal or due to the films. I watched films such as Saw 1/2/4, hostel, the texas chainsaw massacre 1/4, irreversible and baise moi with them, amongst other things such as Casino and Halloween. After watching several of these films my youngest son, 6, has woken me up in the night to ask if he can `sleep with me` because he had bad dreams. On 1 occasion, my 8y old had all the lights on all night. Supprisingly, the prolonged s*x and rape scenes in some of the films, e.g baise moi raised less questions than the violence. My 12y old has got into p**n, but I dont know if it`s related. I dont know that to do hlp

You can always tell a troll because as their story goes along it gets worse and worse and is horrible and turns into child abuse some how. All to have people call them names like I just did.

I wonder what the h**l happened to you as a child for you to see that it is Okay for a 12 year old boy to watch p**n, and all three of them to watch s*x and rape scenes? And what happened to you for you to think this up and think that it is funny. Do you really think that it's OK for a 6, 8, and 12 year old to see rape scenes? What if this situation was real,(which I doubt it is) and what if these kids grew up to think it was OK to abuse and rape women?

What kind of  person thinks that this is funny? Even men in jail who murder people will kill a rapist or child abuser. Where is your conscious?

Well I saw my first rated R horror when I was 8 and I wasnt scared a bit but dont take info from me cause I dont get scared by anything. But I think the 12 year old see some R movies

Are you STUPID? Why would you think it's ok to let your children watch that garbage? If you aren't a troll, please stop letting your kids watch movies that aren't G rated! Make your kids go to bed at a decent hour or they are going to have many many problems. All of you need counseling and SOON.

I am not sure where the mother is in all of this but if you are the only role model they have you need to really step it up.  Your children are having the reaction to the movies with bad dreams so you need to have them in bed when you watch them.  The 12 year old is iffy but you may want to talk to him about how he is feeling expecially if he is already looking at p**n...That is a little young...You need to step up man and be a dad stop worrying about being thier friend, which is what it sounds like to me.
