Should kids wear underwear all the time?

my daughter thinks my grandson should wear underwear all the time - even at night - is this correct to do?

 From a health standpoint, it's better to go without underwear at night so your private parts get some air. This prevents fungus infections in females and death of sperm in (adult) males.

If the child sleeps in the same room as another person, then modesty requires that they use underwear at night.

But if you go with my opinion it is better not to wear underwear at night.

WOW, I cannot believe this question! And I'm more shocked by the answers! YES, a child should wear their underwear at all times. And to say that it is ok not to wear them around the house???? GROSS. I've never heard of not wearing underwear to bed!

I hve been goin to bed ned since 13 and proud of it. I sometimes wear boxers with no underwear.

No.It is far healthier in warm climates to just wear loose clothes.In fact when I was at school here in Cape Town,South Africa,we were not allowed to wear underwear whilst playing any form of sports.We were told it was more hygienic and we definitely had far fewer colds than those kids who wore underpants!
Underpants should definitely not be worn to bed,in the case of young males it decreases the sperm count.

I do not think kids or adults should wear underwear under PJ's, boys or girls.  They need to guve their buttom breathing room.  I have a question for those who sleep in their underwear.  Do you wear the same underwear under your PJ's to bed that you have worn all day?  I am from the old school.  Panties under outer wear.  PJ's are for bed.

I leave it up to my kids. They don't wear underwear. I make sure of what they wear don't show anything.

i think that if kids decide they dont wanna wear underwear that is there choice, you can ask them to wear it around you if you not corfortable but you cant force kids to wear them if they dont wanna.  they are americans too freedoms too

I think she is from the old school I have gone around in just my shorts without undies many times and this is by riding my bike I have also been to school (college without my undies and have enjoyed it quite much and some of my friends have been doing this for several years and they have said that it is great not wearing them. I don't wear any to sleep in the summer and it is great that way I wear mine ususlly during the day only.

It should not be a problem if he sleeps naked or even walks around the house naked. He needs to wear boxers or vriefs when he leaves the house.
