i got pregnant on aug 18 after a little mishap with a condom, not wanting to be gross or anything , it came off during intercourse so when we were done it was pushed way up. so anyhow. i am pregnant now, and i have a big financial problem, i rent a room in coraopolis pa for 185 a month and i live with 3 roomates, i have my own bathroom. and i just got a new job at a golden corral in crafton pa.as a cook. i want so much to keep this baby, but i would have to move out of the apartment and i don't have money to get a place of my own and i would definately be in poverty like most of the rest of the world is. i called planned parenthood and they fund people with little income and pay the abortion, or most of it. i would have to say that i couldn't financially afford to keep this baby.also i can't imagine someone else raising it because i would miss the baby too much i would want to kill myself. i don't know, what do you think about the subject. i am totally confused and alone.

  1. First of all, don't ever ever get an abortion if you are having doubts about it.  That is a decision that will effect you for the rest of your life, especially if it is not the right choice for you.  If you are uninsured and below the poverty line you can get free medical care.  Go to a doctor and they will be able to refer you to a professional who can assist you, counsel you, and point you in the right direction.

I think the more important question is though how do you know you are 10 days pregnant?  That doesn't make any sense.  See a Dr.  you need one.

  2. I think you are being selfish concerning the baby.  It deserves a chance at life and adoption could be your answer.  Or if you decide to keep the child, could you not live with your parents for a while to get yourself on your feet?

  3. If you are having doubts about an abortion, please refrain.  You will have regrets.  Stay away from Planned Parenthood, that organization is so corrupt and is a force in the deterioration of young people in this society.  It doesn't surprise me that they would encourage you to have an abortion, they also promote sleezy promiscuity in teens (check out their ads on youtube).  Too bad they don't promote real birth control and sexual responsibility rather than abortion.  There are other sorts of financial support if you want to keep your baby (which you have every right to do).  Check with the social services department for your state (these are the blue pages in your phone book).  They can help make sure you get the nutrition and prenatal care you deserve.  They can also continue assistance for you and your child after birth (health care, food, and shelter).  You can also check with local religious charities who are more than willing to help women like you in need (you don't have to be a religious person to receive their help).  With those groups, in addition to financial help you can also receive moral support and encouragement through difficult and scary times (sometimes you need someone to just listen to you).  Don't forget that the father should be helping you as best he can too, this should not be all on you and the law is on your side with this.  I too, was born under "unfortunate" circumstances and am so grateful that my mom gave me a chance at life.  Times won't always be this tough and you and your baby will enrich each other's lives.
