  1. Sorry but there is no such thing as a "law abiding illegal immigrant".     They can go through the NORMAL and LEGAL process just like the MILLIONS of other immigrants who came here "for a better life!!"

  2. nah..we'll take a pass.

  3. If they were law abiding, they would not be illegal.  Would they.

My grandfather immigrated to this country, he took the time to learn about american culture, history, and to speak our language.  He served in the US marine corps.  He did it legally.  If he can, than so can others.  But to suggest that those who come here illegally, violate our laws and make VICTIMS of our citizens should be grants citizenship, is almost criminal in itself.  There are ways to do that legally that are there to weed out those who are not desired here.  Again, use common sense.

  4. I realize our school systems our overburdened but I just looked up the definition of ILLEGAL and it says "prohibited by law; against the law; unlawful;"  Geee.. I wonder what means.. Are people so ignorant they don't understand that I don't care if you come here for a better life or to give me a thousand dollars, ILLEGAL Is still AGAINST THE d**n LAW. Why are some people so thick headed. We have enough Americans breaking the law, we don't need illegals over here adding to the already overburdened jail and court systems. We all WANT a better life.. I do, my parents do.. my friends do.. SO BIG DEAL.. I want a million dollars. Can I go rob a bank? Do you think I can get off by telling the cops "but that's the only way I can have a better life so I am justified in breaking the law.. ? BS.. My azz would be in jail so fast my head would spin.. so why do illegals think it's ok to BREAK THE LAW.. If I was trying to cross the border into Mexico because I didn't want to fill out the paperwork and wait on the govt to do their thing, Mexico would throw me in jail and you could sure bet your butt that they would not say "come on in..here's your free housing, free food stamps, and here have 10 kids and use our hospital and not pay the bill..we don't care. GET REAL

  5. You put illegal in front of something and then in the same sentence the words law abiding? How does that work?

  6. yes

  7. Since they broke our immigration laws, they cannot be called "law abiding." However, I am willing to make an exception for illegals who were brought here by their parents when they were small children, and who have a clean record and good grades in school. Also, if they are smoking hot young babes who can speak English, then yes they can stay!

  8. Yes, at the end of the line with others trying to immigrate legally.

  9. No, they should be sent back to their country and be made to wait, because they came into a country when they were not permitted to.

  10. No.

You destroy your own question with

"law abiding illegal immigrants" which is an oxymoron.

  11. "Law abiding" and "illegal" are total opposites.

You DO realize that illegal criminal aliens are NOT law abiding....do you not? HELLOOOOOOOO!!!

  12. Yes they should!!  I dont see nothing wrong with a person say from Mexico jumping the border to come over here to have a good life. Yes there are Law abiding "Illegal immirgrants" They come over to be with family or have a better life. Isnt that what everyone wants?  Slam me for saying this but I dont care. The US is so full of c**p now a days and all it is a political show. Nothing ever gets done and no one seem to give a c**p. Look at our president what is doing for us and the ecomoney?  Not a d**n thing, he dont care this is his last year.

  13. Do you really know why they have to cross? they come to feed their families and give their children a better future. At some point one person from your ancestors had to got to another country. Some people that come are delinquents but not all of them are. Anybody should be able to apply for citizenship because we are all human. We all wake up to the same sun and sleep to the same moon.

  14. Yes. Brown skinned people from the Americas have been tormented by whitey scum for at least 3 centurys. They have paid the price and they deserve it.

  15. How can you be law abiding when they have already broken the law? They break the law everyday they are here.

The key word is illegal under our current laws.

We fixed this back in the 80s and millions more mistook our kindness for weakness.

They need to go back to be law abiding.

  16. no there is a leagal way to come to this country and they should be deported and if they want to come here then they should come the legal way

  17. dude, they broke the law already , hence the term "illegal immigrant", so no, they should be deported and never allowed citizenship.

  18. If they are here illegally, they are not law abiding!

  19. Law abiding illegal immigrant is an oxymoron.

The illegals should be able to apply for a work permit and each case evaluated on it's merits.

Work permits should not be issued for areas of employment where jobs are being taken from citizens and wages are being driven down by the excess of available labor.

  20. If they are Illegal Immigrants they cannot be "Law-Abiding"

They are criminals, and should be deported and barred from re-entry for life,Period!!

    YTP

  21. law abiding and illegal in the same sentence does not even sound right!

  22. Being in the country is illegally is just the tip of the iceberg, they also have to commit identity theft or buy falsified documents. So no, they shouldn't be rewarded with citizenship.  I realize we can't deport 12-15 million illegals but why not give them a choice:

    a) Return to your home country, get in line, and eventually earn your citizenship legally.

    b) Stay here, pay taxes, but because you've broken U.S. law, you will NEVER get citizenship, no voting, no medicare, etc.

And to MexicanManM.A. - if the most people using welfare are white Americans (AMERICANS, being the operative word), perhaps it's because whites are the majority of the population.

Check out these little nuggets on mothers who receive ADFC (Aid to Families with Dependent Children):

The chances of receiving AFDC payments differ by race and Hispanic origin, but not the nativity of the mother.

Race: About 1 in 4 Black mothers of childbearing ages (1.5 million) were AFDC recipients, higher than the 7 percent of corresponding White mothers (2.1 million). Despite these differences in recipiency rates, Black AFDC mothers did not have significantly more children than their White counterparts.

Hispanic origin: Nearly 1 in 5 Hispanic mothers (784,000) aged 15 to 44 were on AFDC. By comparison, about 1 in 10 (3.0 million) non-Hispanic mothers were AFDC recipents. Although both Hispanic and non-Hispanic mothers on AFDC were an average of 20 years old when they had their first child, Hispanic women had almost 0.7 more children than non-Hispanic women. About 3 in 10 Hispanic mothers on AFDC were born outside the United States.

Nativity: About 9 percent (392,000) of the Nation's 4.2 million foreign-born mothers aged 15-44 were on AFDC, not statistically different from the 11 percent (3.4 million) of U.S.-born mothers who were AFDC recipients. Native- and foreign-born mothers on AFDC each had higher fertility rates than their counterparts who were not AFDC participants. Incidentally, about three-quarters of all foreign-born mothers on AFDC were not citizens of the United States.

  23. They will only be given that chance, if they go the legal route i.e. file the necessary papers, pay processing fines, learn about the Constitution, learn to speak the national language which is English, prove that you could be a model citizen that contributes instead of being a burden, etc...

Many, with  lesser income/ way effed up situation, have been granted citizenship, with the help of their patience and resiliency, of course.  Its not that big of a hurdle, really. IMO.

Although it may be a drawn out  process because of the number of applicants each year, it still is the right thing to do. No ifs ands and buts about it.

  24. law abiding illegal immigrant sounds like an oxymoron to me. How can you be law abiding, if you are here illegally? You start out by breaking the law just by being here.

  25. The problem here is that they CAN NOT be "law abiding" if they are "illegal immigrants". Just the illegal immigration is more than enough to show that they are not law abiding persons.

What can be done, for those who want to come into the US for TEMPORARY work is change the process to make it less intimidating.

  26. Yeah, just as soon as all of our laws are changed so that if you break one, you are given something good in return.

  27. Firstly, a person cannot be illegal. Secondly, the term is undocumented immigrants. Thirdly, the foundation of this country is built on immigrant labor. Anyone should be able to apply for U.S. citizenship! There is such hatred in this country.  Who teaches you people to hate? Let me give you people that discrimminate and exclude something to think about...

    1. The most people utilizing welfare in this country are White Americans. Do White Americans not commit murder, robbery, drink and drive (Mel Gibson)???? But it's ok right?Because they're American born and they are entitled to this in their place of birth. Please!

    2.  We have all been immigrants at one point except for Native Americans

    3. Pres. Bush imposed war on foreign soil. In doing so, he has expanded the military budget and brought this country into debt.  Historically, war has brought wealth to the U.S. However, that is not the case with the war in Iraq. It has brought a depression in comparison with the Great Depression of the 1930s. Over 150,000 people have lost their homes in the U.S. Gas prices are at an all time high in the U.S. Unemployment rates are also high. For the amount of money that he has spent on the war, the U.S. could have had universal healthcare for 10 years. So, the next time you're paying for your dr. visit and medication...just think, you could have had free healthcare for the next 10 yrs. I am proud to say that I NEVER voted for Bush! And I WONT vote for McCain Either!!

    4. If McCain becomes president the worst is yet to come. He wants to expand the military and the military budget.

On that note, stop being so hateful and educate yourselves.

Undocumented immigrants should be the least of your concerns!

I am a proud Mexican American. My Mexican American grandfather was born in Kansas 1920 and a P.O.W. in World War II. Although, my family has been here for almost a  century now, I am proud of my Mexican heritage. I have an M.A. degree and love my life!

Undocumented immigrants are not taking my job...because you need an advanced degree to apply. However, you should know that immigrants come to this country educated and wealthy as well.

So, the point is stop hating! Enroll into a four year university study hard and free your minds!
