I'm speechless. Is it cool for the New York Times to publish some of this information? Should they be publicly commenting on ongoing operations?

I think it almost borders on treason, regardless of what one thinks of the war.

  1. I'm not sure if the media should publish classified information or not, but to be truthful, I don't care about the size of your p***s.

  2. If information is embarrassing or stupid, it should be allowed.  If it is truly classified, and could affect ongoing operations, they should not be allowed to publish it.  Whoever disclosed such information to the media should be punished severely.  Newspapers such as the LA and NY Times are sinking fast, and are desperate for readership.  There is nothing these low-lifes will not stoop to trying to regain credibility.

  3. The young one.

Could no longer differentiate between fantasy and reality.

The blunders and slip-ups with human errors created back in the past without being aware of it.

    Luke 8.5-8,10-17

Do not even know what is classified.

    Or internal affairs.

No longer have the code of honour of the Ten commandments.

But code of honour " Over my dead body"

In going for glory on ratings. life style and executive suites.

Leaving behind all the skeleton of skull and bones lying around..

With time others stumbled on it.

Finding out what is the skeleton doing out there.

That was how the traces lead to them without being aware of it.

    Luke 6.39-40,41-45,46-49

    What do you think?

  4. It doesn't matter who leaked it. For all we know it was intentionally published........

Anyway....That's the Freedom of Information Act at work for you guys.

  5. They have been doing it for years. Six days before we launched the Bay of Pigs operation in 1961 the Times broke the story of the planned invasion on page one.

  6. If it's classified material I want to know who leaked the story to the paper.

  7. The news media has a  moral obligation to be the watchdog of the public.

Where is the treason if people in Pakistan know about these operations, people in the U.S. military know and people in Afghanistan know -- and by extension probably many others?

The only people to whom this is news is the American public.

I think the only persons who might be targeted for treason are those involved in conducting secret U.S. operations in other nations like Pakistan and Iran.

So many Americans like to blame the news media for not questioning President Bush on weapons of mass destruction or Iraq aiding Al Qaeda prior to the U.S. going against the UN and invading Iraq.      Difficult to blame the press for not reporting enough and then have some blaming journalists for reporting too much.

The main point should be reporting the known facts and for journalists to not take sides and let the public decide the truth.
