  1. Yes,men originally started barrel racing. Why discriminate the people who started this wonderful sport?

  2. Ok just for your school paper I will answer

    I hate barrel racing

But yes men boys should be able to ride ,,,some make better riders then girls

I have a few students I was teaching western ridding

but in their fun times they went barrel racing and two of my kids won the year award a saddle and the other a bridle set . so yes anyone should be able to ride

  3. Sure! Why discriminate?

And they would be fun to watch.

  4. It would probably create some very strong competition.  Perhaps a pilot test competition would provide input.

  5. No!

There is not much I love more than fast horses and pretty girls and there is not much I would rather watch more than pretty girls compete on fast horses. Girls competing in barrel racing does it for me. Breakaway roping, team roping, tie-down roping, and especially bareback and bull riding, do not attract pretty girls to rodeo competition like barrel racing does. Professional barrel racing belongs to the girls. Oh please! At the risk of stepping in deep doo-doo with this answer, let's keep it that way.

But if you are writing a school paper on the topic and want to find out just how divisive that issue is and get some heated responses, just go to Barrel Horse World.com and log-on to Barrel Talk and ask that question. Here is the link:
