  1. yea... your parents shouldnt have to drive you around everywhere.  and you need practice at it while you still live at home and can get easy help from your parents.

  2. No!  As they are minors and majors!

  3. No, minors should not be given Driving Licence, because they have no behaviour like a matured person. They do not know fully well the right and wrong; no good decision making power; pick up quarrel for simple reasonds; unwanted  competitive mind; taking even serious things lightly; and above all law of the land do not regard them as fit to get the licence, because of their not attaining majority age.

  4. Yes, because there are teenagers out there that are more mature behind the wheel then some adults I know. Age does not matter, maturity does.

  5. well i'm against the motion

minors should not be granted driving license due to the following reasons:

    1) high rates of accidents

    2) no sense of responsibility amongst youngsters

    3) no respect for traffic rules

    4) rash driving

    5) all youngsters want to do is mount their bikes and go 'Dhoom' on roads(love to race on roads)

  6. first tell us in which standard you have study? logically your question isn't proper because as per very common logic answer is no.

  7. Minors have little experience and maturity to drive the vehicles in

crowded place and further they always want to speed up,may cause

injury to children and elderly people so driving license MUST NOT

    be given to Minors.

  8. Most of the roads inside the cities in India are already crowded with lot of vehicles.  To add more woes, if all teenagers were given license, it would prompt more vehicles to go around the cities.  This would add to more fuel consumption at the overall nation level and would also contribute to carbon emission and add to more pollution.  Handling the vehicles is too risky at a younger age, as most of the teens would be fearless and would be speeding up, eventually causing more accidents.  Its the age which would prompt them to be more adventours and will involve trying out more dangerous acts using vehicles, as they would be inspired by that which is shown in movies.  Everything has certain age and after 18 any how one would be free to drive throughout their life time.  Till then the teens can afford to use public transport or vehicles in schools or accompany their parents or elders, while they want to go out, which will be much safer and also contribute to a cleaner environment (less vehicles plying on road).

  9. well arushi, a driving license to minors may not be right option at current defination of the document. But , yes, I believe a driving license with a rider to have a major supervision may be a right thing to do in this world of youngistaan and new age of developments. It will only give youngestors a confidence and trust in their parents will build up. It may also bridge generation gap. Have a nice time. veer

  10. Is the topic of your debate is : reckless driving?

In hurry if didn't mentioned much needed inputs.

For today's students study related commuting needs, 16 to 18 year teens are authorised to drive non-geared, less than 100 cc two wheelres only, with the consent of parents/guardians.

They will be authorised/upgraded to drive vehicles with gear on attaining 18 years, on subsequent appearing and clearing concerned tests by RTO.

  11. WHAT ARE YOU DOING DEAR

  12. Depends on the minor.  I have never had a ticket ever, and no it isn't because I am a cop now lol.. I was always a responsible kid so in my case yes, in the case of a child who is a trouble maker then no.
