I have to debate that no, minors rights should not be limited...that we are old enough to recieve right just like our parents... any help??? PLEASE!

"The debate topic is CON servely limiting the rights of minors...

A.K.A. i am arguring that they should not limit the rights (or have a parent decide rights for them) of teens under the age of 18."

  1. You could say that 18 is an arbitrary age and say that they are essentially as mature as 17, 16, etc. year olds.  You can say that the current system of becoming legal by turning 18 doesn't acknowlege that teenagers develop maturity, and don't just inherit it on their 18th birthday- maybe they should gradually gain rights to reflect this.

Also, everyone is different.  Limiting rights for everyone at the same time may ensure equality, but more importantly it may still be arbitrary and blind to the populations true need if some people are mature enough before they are 18 and some aren't yet.
