I praise them for their efforts to stop these criminals from taking jobs away from legal citizens.

  1. Yes, and other businesses too!  Maybe they should also station plain clothed INS officers in the hospitals too... in areas that are overrun with illegals....  It looks a lot like a roach infestation!

  2. Yes.  I am glad to see this.  We as americans need to do everything we can to end the infiltration of illegal immigrants in our communities.  It is mine and your patriotic responsibility to report all illegals.  They do not deserve to be here, and are stealing jobs, not paying taxes, and putting nothing back.  They need to go if they don't follow the system and get papers.

  3. I look at like this. I can almost bet  you had she gotten away with going to work, whe would not have worked very long and had an OTJ injury which would have costed tax payers and the hospital/future patients millions in legal fees, medical fees and disability payments..If she's illegal, why would anyone think she's not going to cheat the system more. She would..I think they deserve a plaque or some kind of recognition and I am so glad they are getting it. I would choose a hospital like that over one that I suspect or know is hiring illegals. What if that illegal decided she wanted to poison patients food or whatever. what do you think that would cost in lives.

I think every hospital, or clinic should call ICE and report anyone they think is illegal before they treat them or hire them. even in the ER. That would cut down on a LOT of tax payers paying $1000 for an ER visit for a 10 cent band aid. It would cut down on a lot of "anchor baby ' c**p.. they would be deported before the baby is born. problem solved.

I think anyone who knowingly does NOT turn in someone who they think is illegal is just as guilty as the illegal themself. If I knew my neighbor was illegal and didn't turn him in and he killed someone..no way would I ever be able to live with myself.. but I stand amazed at how some people still say "it's a victimless crime". ID theft or any crime is anything but vicimless.  When an 18 year old can't get loans for college because of a $100,000 car loan which occurred when he was 10, it's a victimless crime (TRUE STORY)

  4. As a reflection of using our hospitals, and NOT paying for their treatment, hundreds.. hundreds of hospitals have closed.  John McCain got a bill passed in the middle of the night that made payments on some of those bills and I believe it was out of Medicare.. or social security.  In any case, those folks are now actually ON Medicare, and our rates are going way, way up.

And now, Congress is up there in their cups, telling us Social Security was going broke for the kids.. telling us Medicare HAD to be cut.. telling us we should have invested in the Stock Market in programs that Savings and Loans offered (went bankrupt) and Enron offered (went bankrupt).

I think Congress is going to wait for a good snow and then lead all the old folks outside, turn off their lights and lock their doors.  That would just rejuvenate Medicare, Social Security, and enable the Hospitals to take care of all the illegal aliens they would like.  It has gotten to the point where Congress HAS to work in the dark of the night.. and they are stalling major efforts to control the hemorrhage for the third year.

As it now stands.. we won't beat them.  We need a national ballot initiative that will enable the American People to participate in this mess, and stop the lobby groups from Mexico, the Foundations and the Catholic Church.  Look, by the way, at who you are fighting.

If we can get rid of Reid, Durbin and Pelosi, I think we might get the Medicare back.  And if you get the chance, read and comment on this article.

Did you know Anchor Babies are done with Medicare?

  5. Yes this should be reported by all employers.  Is it not the law that the citizens of this Country should report crimes otherwise you can be held as aiding and abetting?  Do not most employers already do a background check on many employees without being brought up on charges of Discrimination?  How could this person have a legal leg to stand on being she was guilty of all charges?  This issue costs the U.S. citizens billions of Dollars each and every year.  This issue has cost the lives of tens of thousands of inno cent lives since 9-11, over 10 time the amount of men and women as we have lost in the Iraqi and Afghanistan wars combined over The same time period.  It is time that the employers started turning the illegals in and we should hold them responsible if they don't.

  6. seriously why don't y'all mind your own business and if citizens really wanted a job why don't they get off under the bridges and look for one its not true that immigrants have taken all the jobs true is that most citizens wouldn't do the job immigrants do for the pay they get

  7. A hospitals job is to cure the sick. Two hospitals where I used to live closed due to bankruptcy. The cause of those bankruptcy's was treating illegal aliens for free! By reporting illegals to the police the hospital is helping hospitals stay open to heal the sick. Just what a hospital is supposed to do! It can not do this if criminal invaders bankrupt the hospitals.

I swear if an illegal alien was beating a child with a baseball bat and the police arrested him some lawyer would sue the police for not letting his/her client practice his "sports swing".

  8. Yes ,The cost of  long term care of patients that are in this country illegally, should be shouldered by their country's government, not up to the American taxpayers. If their government or relatives are not willing to do so, they should be sent back to their countries of origin.

  9. Every business should follow suit and report illegals.

  10. Yes they should as well as any other employers who have suspicions of identity theft, fake documents or being an illegal.

    Report and Deport!

  11. more hospitals, businesses and the majority of American Citizen's should follow suit!  Report and Deport!!

  12. Yes they should, and to think the ACLU is trying to say the hospital's actions were wrong.  I feel sorry for the person who is supposed to have that social security number. People who steal those really don't think about all the people they hurt by doing it, then to say that it is wrong to turn them in.  I say every business should turn them in, and I am sorry to say this considering my family came from Germany during the war, but if you know someone is illegal, it should be your duty to turn them in, just as you would anyother person commiting a crime.  IOf you know your neighbor is molesting kids, you turn them in right?  If your neighbor is dealing drugs, you turn them in right? We have laws to protect our citizens, not to "be kind and understnading" to those that break them.

  13. I think that they were right to report it based on the simple fact that it wasn't her social security number.  That alone is reason enough.  Maybe the authorities will be able to take this information and find the person who is selling these s.s. cards and put a dent in it.

  14. no, is none of their business, just take care of the injured/sick patient.

  15. In that capacity YES. Employment in a hospital is far different from seeking medical attention.

  16. hospitals exist to heal the sick.

  17. This is a 50/50 question. I am hispanic so I see the struggle that some people go through, The only issue I have is if the illegals don't do the jobs at minimum wage then who will? If they want to come than they should come legally, and get the jobs that us citizens do not want to do. I am a US Citizen and I would not pick oranges, strawberries or any other farm work or hard labor. I guess what I'm saying is that I would not do the jobs they are doing. I am used to having easy jobs and to get a hard one would be crazy. People can call me lazy or whatever, but I have a college education so therefore that is what has made me "lazy" The only way this will get solved is for the entire country to get involved but untill then there will be illegals everywhere.

  18. Any and all employers--be they hospitals, bakeries or gas stations--should report any illegals who try and use false IDs to obtain employment.

Darn proud of the hospital in the DFW suburb.  Those of us in DFW and Texas are sick of the invasion of illegal alien crimianls.

  19. Definitely.

Report and then deport.  One more job opening.

  20. Hospitals, like every other business or organization which hires workers, can & should fire anyone for using a false, forged, fake or stolen SSN or ID, and should report the person to authorities for using such falsified SSN/IDs.

Hospitals who are stuck with illegal aliens who claim to be unable to pay their bills should call the person's consulate and request "assistance in transferring funds from home and assistance in repatriation" for the illegal.  That's what a consulate is for!  That's what a US consulate has to do for a US citizen who becomes ill or injured abroad.  Make the consulates do their jobs and send illegals home.

Hospitals could be much more proactive about getting paid and getting immigration-law violators out of their ERs and beds, and off their staffs.

  21. no and not for any reason but the fact remains enough infants and children die because of poor health care and if we make them afraid of even going to the hospital more innocent lives will be lost it is not the fault of a child as a mom who has buried one of her own a hospital is supposed to be a safe haven as far as then coming and taking our jobs that should start at the places of employment instead of letting them go or hiring knowing they will work for less have stricter laws for that

  22. "For an employer to go ahead and take it upon themselves ... to report that is unusual," said immigration attorney Kathleen Walker. "There's no obligation on my part to go call law enforcement."but her relatives and supporters wonder whether the hospital overreacted by calling the police.Does anyone else get the feeling that advovates for illegals truly believe the laws do not apply to illegals and it's unusual to advocates that anybody would even report to the police we have someone here using the SS# of a decease person to secure employment.Would Walker feel the same way if it had been her SS# ? Using that card also bring problems to the estate of the decease.

Yahoo's reporting left out this vital information-But a spokeswoman for Trinity Medical Center in Carrollton contends the hospital was simply following policy. Susan Watson says the hospital has a responsibility to report criminal activity to the roper authorities, including possible identity theft.

Martinez is a single mother of a 3-year-old son and a teenage daughter. Carrollton police say she showed the hospital’s cafeteria director a Social Security card when applying for a job there in July, and also included the card’s number on her application.

About a week later, a background check revealed the number had been issued to a person who had since died. The hospital’s personnel director notified Carrollton police, and said Martinez had an appointment the next day at the hospital.

She did use a counterfeit social security on her application -< About a week later, a background check revealed the number had been issued to a person who had since died. She used  stolen SS# nothing counterfeit about it.

  23. And they can use the crematories in the back yard to burn them, Excellent idea !

  24. NO
