Kids flogging themselves in the name of religion?!

This sort of thing makes me feel sick and I am fed up with the influx of extremists into this country - if they want to carry on like this send them home where its considered ok to do this sort of disgusting and degrading outdated practice.

Its like christianity years ago where such carry ons were deemed acceptable.

  1. I agree it is a little over the top.

However you have to concede that some in this world may be tired of your British army shooting up people in Muslim countries like Iraq and Afghanistan in the name of freedom or whatever it is they are there to do.

Isn't that a disgusting and outdated practice as well?

I am not a Muslim by the way.

  2. Allowing about a 1.7 million Muslim community  to become established in the UK without any consultation with the real British is quite simply the biggest mistake we have made in  all of UK history.

We only see a tiny tip of the iceberg of what is going on in this ancient ideology now so strong in the UK. Sharia law and all of the trappings of Islamic culture are not wanted by the real British, it is not a crime not to want  foreign ideology in the UK

  3. i think that anyone who wishes to live in the u.k should abide by u.k law, i mean we wouldn't go to iraq or egypt and expect to be abiding by u.k law would we? h**l no! and as far of the "influx of extremists into this country" most of the extremists are born and bred in the u.k, i believe that this is a result of many islamic communities either not integrating into mainstream society, or not being excepted into mainstream society. most young muslims are made to feel that they are different, either by there own community or by the rest of society, so they feel they need to fit in elsewhere! i think that any immigrant, or emmigrant should pledge allegiance to this country if they wish to live here.

  4. Link's broke.

Just stupid kids isn't it. So perhaps NO they don't realise what the Law of the Land is.

  5. Foxy B , your link doesn't work for me, but I think I get the gist of what you are saying.

There are many people who have come to this country and made a valuable contribution, mainly those who are intelligent enough to accept, value and follow the British way of life and it's rules and laws.

I have no problem with other cultures and religions being practiced, in fact we have always had differences, that is what makes this country what it is.

However no one should have the views and beliefs of others rammed down ones throat , nor should unsavoury, antiquated attitudes and ideals that do not fit or enhance the modern world be introduced or tolerated.

There are more than enough of our own laws that do not fit modern day Britain, the emphasis should be on repealing those and not bringing in more unfit practices.

    Edit.

It puzzles me why people who turn there backs on their own country should want to re-create it here to this extent.

  6. "Reminded"?  No, they should be TOLD that Sharia law does not apply and is NOT acceptable, period!

If they don't like it they can leave!

  7. The British need to be reminded that they allowed, & invited the Muslims to come to England and they are there legally.

The Islamic religion will always want to be ruled by sharia law "if possible" and when they are more than the non Islamists they can vote to change the law.

  8. its about time ppl realised that coming here means living like us, no extra funding for causes because of the color of your skin, or religion, everyone should be treated equally. join in, integrate or feck off ! x

  9. This is intolerable and  so too was the news yesterday that there are private sharia law hearings covering family problems - women are being told to obey their husbands etc - sorry but if that's how they want to live then they can leave these shores a.s.a.p!

  10. eerrrrrrr its only done by shia muslims, 80 of all muslims are sunni. So you should be telling the shia's

also whats does it say about sharia law????

you should read your links before you post

  11. What has sharia law got to do with that story.

I have read it, where in the story does it say that it is acceptable under sharia law to force children to whip themselves against their will.

  12. I know and have read the story.  I try to stay on top of what' going on the UK and sometimes it's sickening.  Your country as well as mine   -USA- needs to drop this political correctness bull crappy and wake up.

Here is another interesting story from your home land.  And for those who care, Pat Condell tells it like it is when it comes to muslims and islam making demands in the UK. You can catch him on youtube.

And here is a snopes article which perhaps you may already know.

  13. Opus Dei and many other so called christian sects do the same thing .Except they do it behind closed doors.

What about Nun's getting up before dawn to knell for hours on stone floors so they feel the pain of Jesus. Then do the same thing 6 times a day,

What about those imbeciles who nail themselves to crosses at easter? Any other time of the year they would be taken in to protective custody and held until a doctor had given the all clear.

Also why do Jewish people have their own courts that handle Divorces child custody and contractual disputes between themselves. No one seems to mind this..

If they want to cut off the hands of muslim thieves,so be it .

    To each his own .

I just think their all deluded to do anything to please a "god" so they can go somewhere after they die that is full of milk and honey.

Religion the opiate of the masses...lol lol lol

  14. The last sentence states the rarity of such a case which means it is not common practise.

As usual the xenophobes are foaming at the mouth at the mere mention of the word "muslim".

He is being done for breaking the law of the land so your diatribe is pointless and unnecessary.

  15. Yes. When in Rome...etc...everyone needs to respect the culture & traditions of one's host country.

  16. Reminded no.Told yes.We don't and would not get away with anything in other cultures, teddy bear comes straight to mind. And as long as silly little things are seen as one ism or another,we are stuck with it.As soon as something isn't going their way, your everyism under the sun,a defence mechanism that has been  handed out on a plate, and used at any opportunity that presents itself.

  17. Agreed. But you can see the size of the problem we face by the amount of thumbs down to sensible answers. Multiculturalism uh!

  18. absolutely, its barbaric and as such should not be allowed in england.

they should live by english law not their own.we would have to abide by others laws in their country-we are too soft

  19. People should either

    Fit In or F##K Off

  20. Why paint all muslims with a big brush?

    This is an isolated incidence.

Doesn't the fact that he was punished mean English law is the law of the land

Finally, this was committed by a shia muslim which are less than 10% of all muslims. Over 90% are sunni muslims

  21. disgusting

so many appalling practises and to think that these people bring them to our country

primitive traditions have no place in our society or the twenty first century

  22. I agree with you.  They should.  Europe is being invaded.

As far as your link is concerned, I got this:

    BBC News BBC Sport

    404 - Page Not Found

  23. You can remind them all you like but they will do whatever they want to do regardless, esp with the support of the Archbishop of Canterbury on their side.

  24. Couldn't agree more. In fact I agree on such a level that giving any more of an answer would be a waste of time.

    Well said and well spoken.
