Should muslims watch the Olympic closing ceremony with the volume turned off?

Music is haram. There's going to be a lot of music involved in the ceremony. Is it hypocritical to call music haram yet refuse to turn off the volume?

  2. Ironically, I know a lot of young Muslims who listen to rap, which I would think is more haram than regular contemporary music.

    The beggining of the ceromeny wasn't haram because it had drums.
