I just got a Palmer Rival Wide snowboard. Its my first year boarding but when I finally got snowboarding down I just got it. I can turn fine and I can grind anything and I bullet down mountains. I got everything down. Now my boards starting to chip and peel of the edges of my board. The top and bottom are chipping of the wood, the paint is coming off. I all of this suppose to happen. Is it me, my board, or the mountain like the ice or something. Is this normal? Can I fix it in anyway or no?

  1. if this is your first board and its under a year old it may be under warranty.  It depends if the paint is chipping because you are hitting ice or rails then they probably wont cover it, but if its peeling up for no reason, then they may help you.  a friend of mine had the same problem and rome took care of it for him, I dont know what palmer's policy is on it.  if all else fails, take it to the local board shop and see what they say.  good luck and have a good season.
