Are you kidding. I think you have caused your son some dependency that will effect him his whole life. No dates, no girl..or boys..

Do you talk to each other about how society would view that. His plan of leaving the house and maybe starting his own life.

If that is something he really doesnt want to do at all, for what ever reason,,Is there a mental or physical issue.

Other societies sleep in family groups but tend to move on when they have their own family.

You know what if you both are happy, have open conversations about it, discuss your sons fuuture or fear of leaving the bed?

If you are happy then, and no mental abuse when he was little that made him this way. It may be to late to help your son or give him counseling, which you may try to do if you feel you are limiting his life. There is still time to help him.
