  1. get a new tv, my computer monitor is almost that size

  2. The PS3 can display in 720p or 1080p depending the games you're playing ! Not all PS3 are done in 1080p ! Your tv only supports 720p so that's what you view your games and blu-ray dvd movies in !

Your display should be set for 720p !

  3. Your display is 720p so that is what you should put it on. The same thing happened to me when I got my TV. I set the resolution to 1080p and when I started my game the television kept getting blurry and lines kept popping up. So I just changed the setting back to 720p and it has been working fine since.

  4. You have a 19" TV, even if your TV can display 1080p you can't find any difference between 720p and 1080p.

You can only find the difference if your TV is 42" and above so be cool.

And based on the native resolution of your TV, it can't display 1080p
