Should nascar drop the Infineon race???

While I hate to see the west coast lose a race, I do think that Infineon should be dropped. A lot of the drivers dislike this track, and the stands were not even half full by the end. Phoenix has horrible traffic problems for getting in and out the track, but it stays full. I think that the type of racing that occurs there bores some people. Just my 2 cents.

I like the couple road courses.  I especially like when most of the "ringers" finish in the bottom of the list.

Definetely not.  I love watching road courses. They are very exciting and different. I wouldn't mind nascar adding a couple more road courses, and taking out one of the pocono races, and one of the california races.  And its interesting to see some of the drivers you would never expect to do good at an oval, do good there. I am very happy to see david gilliand finish second.

No way!!!! I was there and there was the same, if not more people there than at a lot of the other races. There were hardly any empty seats in the grandstand. Just because this race wasn't incredibly exciting doesn't mean it always is like that. There has been many exciting races there.

Yes, there are other road courses they could replace it with. There is no good place for passing. You have to wait for someone to s***w up and hope you  are in a position to take advantage of it. Winning there is becoming more of luck there than most race tracks. I know all races require some luck, but it is the majority factor there.

NO there are only 2 road course races if you take one away it only leaves Watkins Glen and we need 2.  I love road course racing too bad they can't race at Laguna Sega

You need to throw in a couple road courses from time to time to separate the men from the boys.

Absolutely not -

The road courses are a great test for the drivers.  I went to qualifying on Friday - they don't fill all of the seats because there is not one single seat in the house where you can see the whole track.  And only about a dozen seats where you can see turn 11 (the hairpin turn) where most of the passing takes place.

The race is awesome - and provides something different for the drivers and the fans.  Keep it - maybe even add a road race to the chase.

I've been thinking the answer to this question a good bit. I thought the race sucked to be honest. Two cars led. No lead changes by racing. Just pit luck scrambled everything up.

I don't know. They need to replace the tires with rails, widen the track or something, but these lucky mishaps determining the results are getting old. I want to see racing. If they can't improve on the racing then yes drop it.

Sure when your driver runs up front there is nothing to complain about but there is not enough laps in that race or something and that just makes it a c**p shot.

They actually need to drop the second races at certain venues and add more road races.  Like at Miid-Ohio or Laguna Seca.
