Look i had norton antivirus and it SLOWED DOWN MY PC SO DRAMATICLY MUCH THAT I JUST COULDNT USE IT...

Had to format and reinstall vista.....norton slows down the pc.....the results of using norton were crashes, glitches, slipups, keyboard lockups etc.

Ad also after i got rid of norton I got avast and that detected stuff that norton didn't.Avast is free and Norton is very expensive.....awful antivirus....low detection rate and resource hungry...

So,

Should norton be listed as a rogue program?

  1. yep its a hoggy very slow program. The best one is Mcafee

  2. Oh my goodness, YES!

Finally someone agrees that Norton is evil.

I think that if you stop using it, it will release back all of your viruses. Just a theory though :)

I'm glad my screen name made someone happy :)

  3. It works with my PC fine.

  4. it ranks with these

    vista

    aol

all huge system hogs ---aol is the worst warrants  a reformat to compeltey get rid of it --is the biggest worm program program out there

  5. OF COURSE NOT!

Even though I too, despise the evil and poorly scripted program it isn't rogue. I have seen Rogue Antivirus programs, and they 10X worse than Norton.

    Simple answer...

Norton Is Inefficient and isn't worth the price. Its a scam but not a rogue.
