Should our country cut ties with a racist, extremist Government that oppresses and kills its Citizens ?

I have seen that Sri Lanka, a country that had been oppressive and violent and killed a huge portion(100,000 plus) of it's citizens who are not in the majority.

Recently it was banned from the UN Human Rights Council because it's killings of ethnic minorities, rape, dissapearances, oppression, torture ever since 1948 has never been stopped.

I can't beleive this country has warm relations with Iran and invited its leader for better relations.

Do you think that we must cut all ties with this racist, oppressive country that is teaming with countries that pose a threat to our country? Shoud our country urge sanctions on such a country like Sri Lanka which is many times worse than Zimbabwe? Google the attrocities committed by Sri Lanka and you will know. I am sick that our country hasn't the guts to speak out against and place sanctions on Sri Lanka, the failed state.
