  1. yesss...

its the parents fought cuz its the way u raised them

alot of parents so well it was his/her idea to commit this crime.

no,ur the parent who made this kid like this

    u raised him completely wrong

some kids are spoiled and when they get older they feel like they can have watever they want

so one day they might ask for something and when the answer is not wat they want they go completely crazy and get all mad

when thye get mad they do something crazy and thats another good solution

  2. Yes they should.  They're just minors and it's a parent's responsibility to take care of them.

  3. Yes they should. Parents are legally responsible for their children, and this should include when a young child commits a crime.

Parents 100% need to take responsibility for their children.

  4. Of course, parents must be held accountable! The influence from parents shapes the personality of the child.

  5. Yes, if their child breaks or steals something the parents  should replace the items and correct their children.

I don't understand parents in stores that let their kids touch everything it sight without stopping them.

  6. If there under a certain ages I reckon they should.

Over the age of about 12 kids can pretty much get themselves in trouble and know what there doing, but when you hear of really little kids committing crimes its got to be the parents responsibility, as hard has it may be being a parent.

  7. Depends on the severity of the crime and the age of the minor.  There are many different factors involved so the answer really isn't all that cut and dried. There's a big difference between a 5 year old who shoplifts a cookie and a 16 year old who takes a gun to school and murders people.  In the former, then yes I would say parents should be held responsible and make restitution. In the latter, I would say most adolescents know basic right from wrong, so if they commit a serious crime such as rape or murder, they and THEY ALONE are responsible for their actions!

I disagree with this busines about blaming EVERYTHING on parents. We all know of young people who grew up in the best of homes but yet theystill CHOOSE to do bad things anyway...and often times they are making their parents lives a living h**l as well as causing problems for the other siblings.

I firmly believe in people regardless of age having to take personal responsibility for their choices, not blaming parents or "society" all the time.

People who think that kids always obey parents 24/7 either don't have kids or they are lying through their teeth.
