  1. yes

  2. Yes, just as if you are a fire person and you clash with water does not mean that you should not have water in your house.I guess the reason you are asking this question is because according to chinese astrology which is categorized by the 12 Chinese Animals, a dragon is directly opposite the dog which causes a CLASH. The only problem occurs when the Feng Shui is bad that means the "placement"is incorrect. Good placement on a basic level would be to put your dragon in the East or SE (Prosperity) where his home is but avoid the bedroom since the dragon symbolizes a lot of yang energy. The office or living room is ideal. Another thing to consider is that as much as I love the generalizations from the 12 Chinese Zodiac animals, they are only based on the year so everyone born in 1988 is a dragon, everyone born in 1989 is a rabbit and so on. A much more acurate and detailed system is the four pillars of destiny which take into account not just the year, but the month, day, hour and even city you were born in.

Good Luck with your dragon and as with all symbolic statues keep them in a place of honor and well maintained.

  3. Feng Shui symbols are merely used to represent some concept or idea. When using these symbols, what matters is actually the element. So, if you have a metal dragon, it would represent  the metal element. Where to place it depends on the direction of your home or office. You'll find all information about Feng Shui here:

  4. I don't think using Dragon symbol would do any harm...

  5. It shouldn't make a difference.  Dragons are cool :)
