If you are speaking about contributions to the society at large, I don't believe so.

We cannot push any of our responsibilities up above our personal level.

Instead, we must embrace all of the responsibilities and opportunities which present themselves to us individually.

definatley. we all should have as much on our plate as we can handle. people who have more and have more responsibilties usuqlly prefer to work behind the scenes and dont want any pat on the back.
