  1. yes they should do voluntary work but not at hospitals .

  2. then there would soon be nobody working in the hospital - if the government had anything to do with it

  3. Yeah, but not just hospitals, theres loads of things the goverment could make them do to earn their benefits, even if it's just general cleaning up the area where they live.

  4. It would be a challenge - in order to do any work at a hospital, volunteer or otherwise, you have to be immunized. That means the hospital needs proof of MMR and the person would have to get a TB test done every year.

Wouldn't it just be better to have a real national health care system that treats everyone so all people can have coverage?

  5. h**l no!!! because if they are that lazy in the first place NOT to get a job why the h**l should they be offered it on a plate! and especially not hospitals or places of health(alledgedly) or places with vunerable people!

  6. That depends upon their backgorunds.  No one want a volunteer who steals or does drugs, etc.

  7. hmmm interesting! and i like your style. they could do cleaning as there aren't enough cleaners in hospitals

  8. No. The last thing sick people want is a bunch of folk around them who do not want to be there.

  9. sounds like a good idea, however, if they are able to volunteer, they can work an actual job and pay taxes!!!

  10. No, because then what will happen to the people who do jobs there.

  11. Great suggestion - Helps as

    a) It will make the hospitals reduce costs

    b) Make more staff available

    c) Due to pt A, reduce the taxes and hence put more in the pocket of the average citizen who is always having it a bit difficult to make ends meet

  12. Not neccesarily in hospitals unless it was extra cleaning painting, maintenance etc, but doing all the other things government says they have no money for i.e. cutting grass verges more often, picking up litter especially plastic mcarrier bags from hedges and trees.  Gardening nd outside maintenance for the elderly maybe one or two days a week.

  13. Yes they should do voluntary work, maybe not in hospitals but in other areas.
