Should petroleum Tanker Drivers be considering striking Again at this time?

Its just getting really ridiculous.....They are striking or considering to strike over pay yet AGAIN!!!

Dont they get paid enough?

Who else thinks they are taking advantage and jumping on the Band wagon again at a sensitive time?

  1. No one ever gets paid enough. see some city salaries and bonuses


  2. When did they last strike? The last problem I remember was in 2000 when they were blockaded, they didn't strike.

  3. As this is a pay dispute, anyone can take industrial action.  Let's just hope the other company drivers don't follow suit.

    As for the demonstrations regarding the fuel tax, that is a different matter.  I agree that something should be done and support the haulage drivers in taking some form of action but if they start blockading fuel depots so that 'joe public' cannot get fuel then they will lose my support.

  4. Milk it while you can, they will all be out of job when oil runs out, wont be long before that happens
