  1. Maybe the England team should be Armature. Who says all the best footballers are professional or in the top flight. Sorry!! hole can of worms there.

  2. i think the player should be payed to play for their england  even they are earning alot at club level, cause if the player should get a career threatening injury where are they left, and  i believe that they would have to pay the club they play for the same match fees otherwise there may be disputes bout letting the players play

  3. If your playing for your country, i agree that their should be some pride, but i would say they should get paid for their wins and qualifyings, or the more they achieve!

  4. No. they should take pride over the game and the cups (if we ever get any!) The olympic athletes don't get paid do they.

  5. Of course they should be paid! Just as patronizingly small amount, so people with more important jobs in the comunity can feel superior xDD

  6. Good god no!

They should play for pride and honour and for the 1001 School Kids that would happily take their places on the England Team for less than nothing!

  7. No, they are representing their country, that should be enough, maybe the odd goal bonus in a world cup or Euro. They make too much money anyway, if they're good enough to play for their country!

  8. No, it should be an honour to play for your country and if people want paid for it they shouldnt be given that honour.

  9. No, in fact based on recent performances the players should have to pay for the privilege of playing for England

  10. No...They should just feel honoured to have been selected to represent our country!

  11. No. It is the last holdover to say they are playing for pride. Players should not need financial incentive to represent their country. Besides, are they not paid enough?????

  12. no,no,no its a privilege not a job.

  13. Playing and representing your country is a honour, Never in a million years should anyone get paid for it. it's a privilege

  14. i thiiiiink.. they should be paid cause their doing a job that no matter what anyone says it must be physically tiring, and they deserve money but not that much, too much or too little monies make people up themselves >.< and the WAG thing is so annoying >.<

  15. hi,vodka here its been said on talk sport  radio station that all  england  players give all monies to charity.stan collymore said that

  16. i think they get enough in the first place. there should be a maximum wage of £10,000 per week, and that is still too much, i think. playing for england is what happens if you are good, so they should be prepared, and proud because anyone would die for that privilege.
