There's no proof that discrimination is the sole cause of low number of women in politic.

  1. In this circumstance, yes.  If there is logical reason and proof that the lower percentage of women is a result of discrimination rather than choice.


  2. Only if other groups should be fined if they don't have at least 40% men.

  3. No, as long as people in political parties are qualified then it doesn't matter what gender they are.

    The main reason why women are not in politics that often, is because most women are not interested in being in that job, it has nothing to do with discrimination.

    They are the opposite of "fair and democratic."  People must earn the right to represent me; I vote for people because of their policies, not their s*x.  (Or race, for that matter)

    Actually, if a political party were to do this voluntarily, I'd probably end up NOT voting for them simply out of protest.
