no because they already make money by selling tickets and if they were free, it would be overcrowded and too many fights.

Some times you just have to use your brain. I know you would want it to be free, but it would be plain out stupid if it was because of the two reasons I mentioned.

Well of course some fans want free tickets for preseason games.  But the fact is that the league would never allow it.  The main reason organizations such as the owners of the stadiums and the officials in the NFL charge fans for admission to preseason games is so they can meet the expenses of having a football stadium for the players to play in.  The whole point of admissions is to meet the needs of the organization.  The needs include electricity expenses, payment of labor on the custodial staff, payment for those that keep the stadium properly built, and fixing any damages or problems with the stadium's infrastructure.  The main reason for the admission is for the upkeep of the stadium, and for the payment of its employees.. Without the admissions cost, the stadium would not be prepared for the regular season.. Some may say its greed, but the fact is its what businesses do, they have to meet their own needs first..

I agree that they shouldn't (or rather couldn't) be free admission because the leauge would lose money (as opposed to make any) due to cost, etc.

But they should be optional for season ticket holders. And if a season ticket holder does chose to purchase them then they should be at a reduced rate
