  1. no

  2. Never.

  3. private clubs have the right to protect their interests and the privacy of their club-members and patrons.

no, they shouldn't be forced to admit people they want to exclude..not even if these people be of the same s*x..

  4. People are always going to self-segregate in some way.  How much should our government interefere?

I think they should not exist, and if they took the signs down the publicity would die off and they would segregate just fine.

Anyone trying to get into a club just because there is a sign that says they cant come in do not really want to be there, they are simply causing controversy, and I am opposed to that.  Fighting for fighting's sake.

  5. I don't think they should. There are proven facts that support it can maximize or at least increase the efficiency to achieve certain goals or tasks when the group of people consists of only one s*x rather than combination of two sexes. If you mean to respect the diversity, you might want to value the characteristic of the one s*x only clubs, too because it's also part of diverse and various types of clubs.

  6. Absolutely not.  I find the whole notion to be absurd.  What kind of woman would want to impose in this manner?

  7. I am not going to waste my time reading the links. I believe that there should be clubs that are exclusively for men and for women. Nobody should feel they have the right to force "mixing" in these clubs. It's the same as saying who you can't choose to be your friend. Nothing is harmed by having gender separate clubs. There aren't many around anyway, so why should it even be an issue.

  8. yes but make it all nude this will curb things quickly...or will it

  9. No.

  10. No because their are members of both sexes that feel uncomfortable around members of the opposite s*x and they should be allowed to have a club where they can be comfortable.  That would be tantamount to forcing nudist to allow people with clothes on into their compounds or regular society should have to accept nudists walking around naked every where.

  11. Of course not.

99.98% of people don't belong to a club but somehow find a way to earn a living.  So, there's no way to honestly argue that barring women or men prevents them from earning a living.

  12. If its a matter of recreation its no big deal for separate associations.    Curves doesn't matter - they get women moving and that is a good thing.  Their equipment is for women where as in another type of gym the equipment is geared to men.      The beach is a good idea because it doesn't allow kids!    Women aren't doing business at either location.  I'd be in favor of a similar men's beach.

But when you have country clubs - whose members join for career purposes there is a problem.     When a male executive has an advantage to take a client to a club for lunch or golf that unfairly impacts a woman's ability to earn a living.

I have no problem with boy scouts, fraternities, sororities, etc.

And the Harvard situation (religious based decision) is so different.   You have a gym open 66-72 hours a week (what I heard) and its only off limits 6 hours during the time men were least likely to use it, one hour mid afternoon.    Is that a real problem?

  13. Yes of course, but only the Male ones, did you not know this?

  14. Ididn't see all the links, only the golf one. When it comes to stuff liek golf, it's stupid. It's just causing unnessecary segreation of the public, we're all grownups you can be freidns with anyone. It would be like having it exclusive to a certain age. But if it comes to something such as a gym, nudest group, domestic violence, rape or something sensitive like that where you may get members that are sensitive or fearful of the opposite s*x then it's different.

  15. No. And it would be quite dumb to be asking that. I mean, what kind of man's only club would it be if there is a woman in it or woman's only club if there are men in it. Even as I type this it sounds absurd.
