  1. Really the only funding private schools receive is scholarships and grants from the government. At least that is what the did at my private college, just south of Chicago. They raise the tuition each year to make up for the money the government doesn't give them. And no, private schools should not receive public funding. It should go to kids who cannot afford to go to private schools or really any school at all.

    What do you think?

  2. Well then they wouldn't be private anymore would they?

  3. Too be fair, yes they should because their parents pay as much taxes, or maybe even more taxes, as the parents of the kids in public schools.

  4. yeas

  5. NO, yeah parents in private schools pay as much tax as parents in public but at least the private school kids are in air conditioned rooms using their brand new books and tools and even brand new schools where the public arent and have to use book material thats 20 yrs old, i was a public school student and proud of it but real frustrating seeing these private schools get it all and we got nothing,

  6. Yea only if they would allow anyone in their school like public schools!!

  7. Wouldn't the governement just love that?

Total control over the education of future voters.

    Haell no!

The purpose of a private school is nullified once they are under the government thumb. It IS a good point that private schooled families pay just as much tax (due to increased incomes probably more) as everyone else but I think that's more a vie for lower taxes rather than funding. When someone gives you money - they're going to want it back one way or another.
