  1. If it is a public pre-school i dont think so.  If it was a perochial pre-school then i don't think so either but that is up to the school!

  2. nooooo! i think not because they are little children and i think they might want to wear different color every day. i know i hated my school uniform!

  3. I don't see any need for uniforms in any grade - especially not preschool though.  People need to express themselves -there should definitely be dress codes so there are no inappropriate clothing but not uniforms.

  4. My friend's little boy went to a day care center where they wore uniforms.  It was actually kind of nice.  You did not have to worry about them getting their good clothes dirty or think about what they were going to where that day.

And they just looked so darn cute!

  5. No! I think definately not!  One of the basics of Kindergarden is being creative and learning how to be your own person.  Also, there just little kids!  What are they gaining from wearing the exact same clothes.

  6. yes of couse because then it makes all the pupils feel the same an not diffrnet from each other

but if they wore their own clothes then it can seperate them, becasue some ppl would wear expensive clothing and some others would wear chaper clothin

aving uniform stops barriers like this from occouring

  7. that would be adorable

ive always been a fan of uniforms ^^

  8. NO....... their is no need for that with the preschoolers.

  9. I have no problem with public school uniforms except for pre-school and maybe even kindergarten.

How do you help young children respect differences when everyone is striving to look alike?

  10. There are pros and cons in having uniforms. The pros would be that it is cheap in the long run. Students wear the same kind of clothes every day(cuts the clothing bill - I'm guessing the uniforms would be $100), and you don't have to determine what to dress the tot in. Saving time and money is a big plus. The cons would be not letting the preschoolers wear those cute and unique outfits they sell. I praise uniqueness and style in clothing. I vetoed uniforms in private school, too, but I can see the usefulness in uniforms.

  11. Personally I don't see a need for it in pre-school. The children learn colors, different shapes or animals that are on their clothes and everyone enjoys it when they wear the same color. Unless they are taught at home pre-school children accept one another very easily.

  12. They are too young to understand why they would be wearing the same uniform which defeats the purpose of it.
