  1. Yea but he wants to reach 300 wins before he does.

  2. probably, going to wait after 300th win. i say he should rertire now. i have been watching baseball for 3 years, and i dont recall Randy Johnson being an ace like Santana or Peavy

  3. he should after he gets his 300th W

  4. No he should not retire.  He is still highly effective & he had to completely change his approach because he doesn't have the power arm he did back in the late 90's to 2002.  I do believe he is just about ready to hang it up though & as most have already said most likely will once he gets to 300 wins either this season (highly unlikely) or next season.

I just hope he stays with the D-Backs, he has accomplished many more things here in AZ then with any other team.

  5. I think after this season he probably will. He probably just wants to try and get 300 wins!

  6. Who's the idiot that gave everyone a thumbs down regardless of the answer?

Either way, Randy Johnson is the 3rd best pitcher in the Dbacks rotation, so he can still pitch pretty good.  He can still pitch one more season.

whoever gives thumbs down just because, "s***w you"

  7. No.

  8. I think he should retire after he gets his 300th win

  9. If he keeps winning and keeps wanting to play cash will be thrown in his general direction.

  10. Well, he's good enough to be a big leaguer, but definitely, he would like to reach 300 because that's a great memory you can take with you when you retire.

    -A.X.

  11. AFter he gets number 300 he is to close to retire now.

  12. He should only retire when he can't be a number 5 man on any mlb rotation. As long as he can be good enough to be a number 5 man he should not retire. And Right now he could be a number 2 or an Ace on some teams so why should he retire.

  13. He's still pitching good, and is still better than half the pitchers in the league so i say "The Big Unit" stays around

  14. His time is just about up but until his ability depletes completely, why not keep playing? His fastball still gets up into the low 90's and he is an above .500 pitcher.
