Instead or running away from the situation like cowards to live comfortable lives at the expense of the host nation. Together they could form viable militias and fight the oppressive governments they are so scared of and make their countries safe places for future generations to live?

  1. Nice theory. It wouldn't surprise me if the able candidates are often recruited in some form or fashion. But, in general it sounds like a nice theory with a ton of real world problems. Letting them form autonomous militias would be a great way to implement infiltration. Forcing them to join the Army would augment their culture shock in the majority of cases.

  2. Nice theory - if you imagine that refugee are fit young men. In fact they are women, children and old people in the main.

How would any young men "form viable militias"? Who would train them, arm them, provide them with food and shelter whilst they trained and WHERE would they carry out these operations, which country would welcome large bands of "foreigners" on their land inviting attacks from those "oppresive governments"?

Real life is not a Hollywood movie....

  3. Well, look the Easter Rising, those men knew they were going to die for Ireland but fought for the future of the Irish, it preceded the Anglo-Irish War and is still an inspiration so yes.

  4. Yes.
