Should reparations be made to former slave owners? After all, the government did seize their property without due compensation. Thoughts anyone?

  1. Why sure, right after all the reparations for slavery are paid in full.

If you are trying to compare the loss of liberty to the loss of property you're on thin ice. That's like the difference between killing someone and taking his wallet.

  2. Yes.....right after we make reparations to employers when they lost their workforce due to child labor laws.........and just like the n***s should have been compensated when the camps were liberated............and all the moms prior to Roe vs. Wade who should be compensated for forced breeding.........

  3. My thought is... now that's a funny twist

  4. Why should we pay for something that has been done 100 years ago? I wasn't alive to be robbed property of, I wasn't alive to have slaves or I wasn't alive to take property from slave owners.

Why are people so stuck in the past about things that never happened to them? Does it really make sense?

  5. No, that's as silly as giving money for slavery to people who were never slaves.

  6.     Good thought and i think I have to agree with you. The government has already abolished private land ownership. You property belongs to the tax man, don't pay the taxes and see how long you own your property.

  7. Of course not. Do you get compensation if you are found in possession of something that you don't have a legal right to possess and it is confiscated?

  8. I would normally say we should just let it go. After all, nobody alive today had their slaves seized without compensation so we would be compensating heirs. However, since people wont shut up about the ridiculous idea of making reparations to the great grandchildren of slaves, all of whom were born to free parents, I say let it go both ways.

Anything that is good for one race should be good for another. While we are at it, lets start the NAAWP, the United While People College Fund, and lets have black colleges be forced to lower their standards of admission to make sure they have an acceptable number of white students.

    Geeeeez
