There are carbohydrate powdered products. Some say runners should take them daily in order to avoid the bulk of food. What's your opinion?

  1. yeah those are good.  They come in gel packs.  Just make sure to take it at the right time.  If you're going to run, take it at least 1 hour before you run.

  2. I find them unnecessary, along with "muscle building" protein shakes, and pills of the like.  It's unnecessary, and (in my opinion) a way for the manufacturer to make money.

If you want to avoid the peaks and drops in energy due to food, space it out into smaller meals more frequently to keep energy consistent.  That's what I do for my lunch.

    Hope it helps!
