smokers be trusted to vote in a sane and orderly manner, or will they mark an X with the same lack of thought that they use when they stuff a cig between their lips?

I don't smoke and I don't like being around smoke, but if you want to start penalizing people for their bad habits, then no one on earth would be allowed to vote. alcoholics (which your present president was treated for), gamblers, religious fanatics, video fanatics, people that have mental health issues,(by polar etc that are functional) Sun bathers that stay too long in the sun ( they can get cancer) the list could go on and on.
