  1. No.

  2. It's important to know your options when choosing which brand of starving child to buy....

EDIT - but seriously, I'd say the main problem with advertising the plight of starving children is that we become hardened to those images and stop really seeing them for what they are.

  3. are you Mariah Carey?

  4. I'm not sure about this one..

Can't stand the adverts, but then how else can they get the funds for the cause?

  5. one on hand yes, because it helps them by raising awareness, and on the other hand no, cuz it exploits them.

these women should not have kids that they cant feed. Just my opinion.

  6. Yes,  if you would like to help feed the Hungary go to:

    www.freerice.com

    ^^^ sort of like a word-game.

  7. No, not enough meat on em!

  8. no they shouldnt be advertised on the box. the only reason they are starving is because their governments are spending too much money on weapons for fighting amongst themselves.

how many leaders of these countries look even half starved?

  9. I don't think that seeing starving people will make girls diet.

  10. Absolutely not.

However i think that as "world leaders" sit down to eat anything at any meeting G8 etc they should be shown the pictures and told to grow up and think about a better food distribution plan.

    There is plenty for everyone.

  11. I don't see a connection between starving kids in the 3rd world & anorexia in the affluent West........

    sorry but I don't.

I would like to take obese people to the 3rd world

& ask them to repeat what they ate yesterday to a starving child.

    will they actually remember?

    & then explain why.............

    Because it was there?

Why not, I can afford it?

    OR

I have no self-control & want to kill myself with food?

Probably the last thing the obese will say!

  12. Of course they are starving - the governments steal all the money! I would not give a penny to Africa especially when it doesn't get to the people anyway.

  13. tHEY SHOULD BE THERE TO SHOCK US ALL OUT OF COMPLACENCY AND INTO DOING SOMETHING.

woops sorry caps lock was on!

  14. I dont think they should, I think people should just be able to help those kids without having to see them starve and seeing their poor living conditions... but unfortunally they show it because some people don't know what is like not to have anything, we are used to have everything since the day we are born..and  i am not even rich..but we have the basic things..and still we complain about it...we want more stuff...

sometimes is hard to believe that people can live in these conditions... but they do. they live with less than we do, so I don't mind if they show it, I know is very sad to watch but if we just feel bad or change the channel we are not helping..

we live in a selfish world and I think we should try to help one way or another...but instead we just care about helping ourselves...

I don't care about Kate Bush...or skinny girls..

  15. Yes because we need to be reminded of how much we have in comparison, regardless of how disturbing it is. As for young girls dieting I would hope it might make them consider the difference and the ability of choice and how precious life is.

  16. if it gets them a bit of dinner I suppose it's ok.
