This electric shock on the steering wheel will be very useful.

for example;

when a person falls sleep on the steering wheel, the shock will be delivered.

when the light turns green and the person doesn't drive a 180 volt will be delivered and the person will never forget to move on green again

when teenagers talk on their cellphone 250 volt will be delivered, this could only be recognized if the person hold his steering wheel with one hand --so better keep it on both hands if you aren't talking on the phone!

This will be a law, like the seatbelt, if your car doesn't have an a steering wheel electric shock, you will be ticket by police!

good idea or bad idea?

  1. It would be a great theft deterrent if you could add it to your alarm system. As far as for the legitimate driver I fear it may be too much of a shock to be considered a "safety feature". Maybe a recorded voice that shouts various "motivations" at the driver would be safer, or is that too much like a back-seat driver ?

  2. Sounds like an excellent way to s***w up a pacemaker!

  3. This would most likely cause more accidents.........

  4. Bad idea.

    1. How would the car now that one of these things (cell phone, not moving on green, sleeping, etc.) is happening?

    2. A shock to the steering wheel only works if the person is touching the steering wheel.  If the person doing something dangerous lets go of the wheel to avoid the shock, that makes it more, not less, likely that they will crash.

    3. The shock could cause the person to crash.
