Should students go to travel or work before going to university?

It would be a great idea if students work or travel and put off college for a year or so!

It is best to work first!  See the world without an education or a degree. It is not easy. This will give you perspective and a stronger drive to work hard and complete your studies.  It will also afford you a level of maturity that your classmate will not have.  Better yet, actually use that job to pay for your own schooling!  If you do, I can almost guarantee straight A's
