  1. 'misunderstood' up there, come on mate with the heath ledger avatar, The VFL started the state of origin concept, the NRL copied and have made it work, having on 2 states that play Rugby League makes its work, aussie rules has Vic, Tass,SA,WA,NT, so it was a lot harder to make it a success.

i would say play it every 2 years or so, i don't think i liked the idea at first but now i am warming to it, the best players available are going to play, i reckon it will be great.

  2. They should have one Hall of Fame match every 10 years.

  3. No.

I'm from the U.S., and the "All-Star" games are completely washed...no one really watches them.

Say what you want about the U.S., but regardless, I think sports fans are sports fans.

And, Footy fans will be much more excited for a Hall of Fame match that is a rare event, one say every 2 or 4 years.  Like world cups and stuff.

    Go Saints lol

  4. Only if it is changed back to State Of Origin and not Dream Team

  5. YES!

  6. yeah i think it should be for sure

  7. Bring on State of Origin.

Victoria, SA, WA, Tasmania, NSW, QLD, NT. Have a carnival just like the under 18's.

The only problem is the injury situation.

  8. yeh. it should be it creates a bit of excitement when u got teamates goin head to head. GO THE BIG V

  9. how about we see how this game goes first?

it may turn out that its not interesting and a waste of time-on the flip side, it may be a great thing to watch.

I dont think it should be state of origin......6 teams...nope.

I like this concept of Victoria v 'The dream team' aka ' the rest'

lets see how this goes first before drawing any conclusions!

  10. i think it should but the politics will get in the way eventually.

  11. Yes,as long as it dos'nt cost players too much-as i injuries that is...

But i don't think it should go so far as to name it 'State of Origin' though...Leave that for the rugby fella's...

  12. yer it should

  13. No it shouldn't, It takes away valuable AFL time which is our own teams.

  14. i love perMANent fixtures

  15. I'm thinking it will be - except they will rename it the State Of Origin !!

  16. I think it should be.  I'm am so looking forward seeing the cream of the crop all playing on the one playing field.  What a spectacle..  Let hope for no injuries..

  17. ummmmmmmmmmm yeah!!!! but every 2 years, not every year. i also like the idea of every state putting in a team and doing a carnival.............that would be awesum lol...............but again the injury problem wouldnt be too good.

  18. No.  It's a waste of time

  19. I no it thought the game was boring its pointless just name the team and give them the jumper but don't play a game

  20. mmm.. Its hard, I'ld be devo if players injured themselves during the match but I really dislike split rounds..

Guess I'll have to get used to byes everyround when they bring in the new team!

Nah.. Its nice this season cos its celebrating 150 years but everyone loses interest wen it happens regularly..
