Should they? Garret Anderson has done so much for the Angels. Do you think they will retire his number?

  1. h**l yeah, he's been with them for how many years? like 15? he's proven himself many times and DESERVES to have his number retired[:

  2. WHY WOULD THEY RETIRE HIS NUMBER? MAYBE FOR LAZIEST OUT FIELDER IN THE HISTORY OF ANGELS!!!! HE HAS ALLOWED AT LEAST MORE THAN 10 RUNNERS TO GET A DOUBLE BECAUSE HE PRACTICALLY WALKS TO THE BALL IN THE OUTFIELD

  3. h**l Yeah, he has been their franchise player for the last decade.

Very seldom do you see a good ballplayer stick with one club for more than 15 years.

  4. Yes. He's the rare breed of talent and loyalty. A few more years might even net him the Hall of Fame. If not that, they should retire his 16.

  5. You tell em angelsrock, I don't think they will retire his number but I sure do like/respect the guy. (they should seriosuly consider doing so though) I don't think a lot of angel fans appreciate him enough.. probably because they just think he's "lazy" and "doesn't have passion for the game" etc etc Its too bad!! there's always some excuse about him not hustling...

He's a good player who has always helped the angels second half.. he's had a good career thus far.. hope he doesn't leave here :)

  6. first, I want to say this. Think about what you are writing before you write it. Couple? of dudes in front of me, I don't think you know how  freaking idiotic you sound. I know, i know I take answers too literally, and I'm sorry. GA will always hold a spot in every angel fan's heart. He never left the angels (hopefully never will) and won their first ws title with him. guys like glaus and others all left because of cash issues. Garret Anderson has been with the angels more than any other player in franchise history. He leads the franchise in hits, rbis, total bases, times on base, singles, doubles, games played extra base hits, runs, plate appearances. He's third in batting average, second in home runs, third in triples. Know, that doesn't mean they will retire his number, but he will always be an all time angel. just don't be a jackass

  7. i doubt it is good but not a great great player they should retire 27 and 57 for sure though

  8. no. he is a very solid player but not an all time great
