Question:

Should the Aussie fans demand a refund?

A large contingent of Aussie fans have spent the past two days of the current Test match at Sabina Park in the swimming pool next to the scoreboard.

Now it has burst, and they can't use it anymore.

As they have forked out hundreds of dollars to enjoy themselves in a Jamaican swimming pool, on a Jamaican cricket ground, during a West Indies-Australia Test series, should they ask for their money back?

  1. Pardon me for pointing out the obvious, but did they not go there to watch cricket? How then, could they claim their money back for something not connected with cricket? Let them find another pool if they must, but why should the tour organiser be responsible for the mishap? But I am intrigued. Why is there a swimming pool in the cricket ground? And how did it 'burst'?

Edit: Wayne Kerr, that is a solid idea! lol

  2. i guess this means there gonna have to buy a bigger Esky now! also am i the only one wondering "how much of whats in that pool wasnt water or beer!""

now thats a rather gross thought isnt it!!

  3. Pretty Funny wasn't it...I was watching cricket at 3:45 am out time and they showed the pool and were talking about what fun everyone was having..

I could not see that being able to happen at many grounds in the world...

Look they are Aussies we know how to improvise, don't worry you will see them out in a babies wading pool if they can find one..

Nah they wont ask for a refund they will just tell them to find something else for the boys to use...

And think of it this way, even if they hav'nt seen much of a match due to having too much fun,at least the scoreboard is right beside them so they can check the scores...

  4. Those bloody racists! How dare they deny all those poor white Australians from their swimming pool!!! How many stubbies were spilt in this tragedy?

I bet if it were a load of indians in the pool, it would have been replaced with a 20m fibreglass one, plus a jaccuzi by now. Double standards or what?

This is an outrage and should be reported to the International Commission for Human Rights immediately.

All the Aussie supporters should be able to claim at least 3 slabs of tinnies and an ounce bag of "Jamaican gold" for their inconvenience ;-))

  5. AHAHHAHAAH

    joke of the day
