  1. Preseason is for getting your team together with new players, new plays, etc. The games don't count. The regulars usually don't play a full game. Dallas will have it together when the season starts, especially in their division with the Giants, Eagles and Redskins.

  2. No they shouldn't. Good teams usually lose most of their preseason games because they don't play to win the game because they already know they can win while bad teams play to win because they want to see if they can actually win. I remember the Colts lost all of their preseason games the year they won the Super Bowl. I'm pretty sure the Cowboys are trying a few plays they wouldn't think twice about during a real game. I wouldn't panic yet.

  3. No, no, no! Remember the '90's, the Cowboys NEVER won preseason games; but were winning Super Bowls instead.

It's tough to see Dallas lose any game for me; but you have to keep reminding yourself-the Cowboys aren't running the plays they are going to run in September. And if the starters played the whole game; who knows if they wouldn't come back and won??

It's August. The 'Boys can go 0-4 this preseason and it really doesn't mean a thing.

  4. I agree with Brian. Why put it in full force when it doesn't mean squat. I like that they aren't winning, other teams will think they have a chance and then Dallas goes full force and beats their butts in reg. season

  5. no its only preseason

  6. I don't put much stock into preseason games at all really.  Only the players that are trying to make the team and the rookies give 100%.  The vets and star players know what they can do so there is no reason to go full bore just to get injured in a meaningless game.  I wouldn't make any bets on the regular season standings based on preseason performance.

  7. I would wait till at least the first four games to even think about going into panic mode. I am not a Cowboys fan, but that team has talent on the offense to put up some points.

  8. why worry about preseason?  the goal isn't to win, it's to work on plays, let the back-ups get game-speed reps, and avoid injuries.
