And then ask yourself why so many of the above want to rid themselves of England right now.Scotland has gone , Wales is going and Europes getting tired of you.Where will you float ? America ?Hopefully and then find out what it's like to be pinned on to a neighbour you don't want.

No more jocks harping on about independance, no tax payers money being utterley wasted on a load of gun toting thugs in Northern Ireland, no more er Welsh. Europe, yes i agree! But Britain only became GREAT when it was united, ie England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, so i dont agree on that point. After all the empire, and the great period of inventiveness and advancement happened from 18th century onwards, for the most part, when we were united.

Also many English are Ethnically mixed with the Celtic peoples, and vice versa. I mean if your name is Price, Powell, Bennett, Jones, Evans, Wallis, Evans, Dean, Pemberton, Prescott, Presley, Jenkins, Hopkins, Bevan, Regan, Davis, Davies, Reardon, Ellis etc youre probably partly Welsh! Same as if your name starts with Mac or Mc, Scottish or Irish, same with names like Kay, Blair, Dunlop, Paisley etc!

Then thers the Cornish and Manx, who arent English either!

All countries have immigrants and Emigrants, always have had, but the problem, im sorry to say, is the TYPE of immigrants Britain has let in, as well as the volume!

Somalis, Kurds, Afghans, Gypsies from Romania, Albanians, Islamicists from Pakistan and Bangladesh, and a significant portion of the Afro Carribean community, contribute little to Britain, and in practice, do the country down....Support for Terrorism, Failure in Education,Joblessness, Crime, DSS spongeing, refusal to integrate, cultural incompatibility etc etc.

However, Poles, Chinese, Jews, Mid Eastern Christians and most non muslim Indians integrate very well, and contribute much to society, working hard, doing well in school, retaining family values and generating wealth.

Europe is a total waste of time, the EU is utterly undemocratic, and very Beurocratic, the UK should leave it asap! Its effectively turning into the Soviet Union, controlling evey aspect of our lives.

Yes we should. I would vote for ANY party(except a muslim party) which said it would do that. The English DID NOT vote for labour. Its the Scottish and the Welsh that did. Let them have the scum bags.

I don't know, judging from what I hear on the global reports I don't think England will have any more room for themselves never mind immigrants, and the other countries. Global warming is going to send swarms of immigrants to other lands dispossessed by the seas, and the climate change. This is happening now and it is only going to get worse.

England float free? Heck I think she's going to sink! Attached to Wales and Scotland or not, the seas are rising and the people are hungry and the waves of dispossessed will grow greater and greater. England I am afraid will have her own dispossessed to care about.

I understand that there is a lot of good land north of the great lakes in Canada ...you might want to check that out for the future of your children and grandchildren if not for yourself.

I know we aren't colonists anymore but if you make a good contribution to the country you're welcome to immigrate.
