Where people felt that the IPL would benefit by having games mainly on weekends. This gives everyone a bit of a break and we can see where all the teams stand before the next round. Rather than an endless line of games.

What do you all think?

  1. No.That would be disappointing.

  2. fellow cricket lover,

im all for the mid week break, but for me personally i feel that more games the better. Lets take the game last thursday, graeme smith (sa) was flown to play that game, hes been playing in england and missed the first 3 games, so i dont really think he would be to underdone. Now a team has sum 20 something players with both highly payed internationals and young up and coming indian players. Surely the more maches these young indian players can experience under there belt the better world cricket can be, and lets face it, i love watching cricket- tests, 1-dayers and now 20 20.

with all these games occuring, the administration can iron out any problems that this new format may have.

  3. no

  4. It's designed for, and run by TV, so they want an endless line of games. Besides, if you only played on the weekends, the tournament would blow out to over 2 months. Boring. Also, internationals would then take precedence for all involved (even Indian players).
