  1. Yes, it should be between the Atomic council of the United Nations. Who is the US to try policing the globe? They just don't want any other country to have nuclear weapons except themselves.

  2. If your analogy from logical angle, then YES.

If we are little practical, then there is no difference bwecause

UN = USA ( in practical sence)

    Officially,

UN = USA + Delta ( all others put together)

Therefore signing with USA and UN does not make difference as on today.

Since INDIA genuinely need this technology after 50 - 60 years; and at that point of time if someone else take over the position of USA ...................  ( there are so many if,  if,  buts, buts impractical upto   200 years).

  3. It could go either way.  Even though it seems slightly devious to have just India and the U.S. broker a deal, it happened all the time during the good old nuclear days during the Cold War between the United States and the USSR.  It would certainly make the deal more legitimate, to the international community, if it were between India and the UN.  It would also make Pakistan, a U.S. ally, a little happier as well.

Here is another question:  Why dont we forgo this nuclear deal and maybe concentrate on getting India and Pakistan back to the table with the NPT and having oversight by the IAEA?

  4. cant say

if it is signed it would look like are putting our head down i.e our 'maan samman kam hoga"

if it is not sign there will be a bit less progress.
