  1. The Jets would have to give up 3 first round picks to trade him to the Packers division.

So I think they would have to get a lot more than first rounder to do that

  2. they cant, its in the deal. according to nfl network anyway.

  3. i dont know, if they would do that. but it would be cool

  4. I don't think that they can. I thought I heard that the Pack would put a no trade to their division in their contract.

  5. that would be such a dis to the Packers

  6. they cant because farve cant be traded within the nfc

  7. It's got to be in the trade clause that they can't trade him.

But it would be neat if they were able to pull it off. I bet they could easily get a first rounder out of Minn. Or maybe a 3rd and Chester Taylor. That would be a nice 1 2 punch in NY.

  8. not a good move for the Vikes even if it were allowed, a 1st rounder is way to much for a 35 year old QB, who may retire again at the end of the year.  too many other options with less risk.

  9. Well if they want to lose 3 first round draft picks. That is the way GB structured the trade

  10. ^ No way in h**l would they drop Chester Taylor, and Minnesota right now would rather try to get someone that is possible to get, Chad Pennington

  11. Nope, they should trade to Atlanta for a 1st rounder and hopefully be able to use Matt Reynolds because Farve is NOT going to have an impact on the Jets squad at all. (positive that is, he will surely cause negativity in the locker room)

  12. Is there a "back-door" clause in the contract? Maybe, but, if brett plays for the Jets 1 year, then the contract could be full-filled.  interesting Huh?

  13. i read that there was a clause that if they jets traded him to the vikings then they would forfeit 3 first round picks to the packers.  Thus, giving up three and favre for one wouldnt make sense.

  14. Brett Favre is under contract with the Jets so he can do anything he wants. Personally, being a Vikings fan, that would be a dream. But unfortunately, you and I know that the likelihood of this happening is slim. Even though, Minnesota would give a 1st rounder if the situation arose and brad childress (cant stand him) actually does it
