  2. They should trade them for a tub of popcorn and a pretzel. Try to get some soda if you can squeeze that into the deal but I don't think their worth that much

  4. Yes but the thing is, no one would want to trade their pure point for their horrible contracts.

I wouldn't necessarily go that far, trading away two valuable role players, but I think the Lakers need to pick up another point guard.  Just a veteran that can play about 10 minutes, or more, in case of injury.  They still have their mid-level exception, if I recall, correctly.  If Farmar or Fisher get injured, then you have Sasha playing minutes at point guard or you have to play the rookie Sun Yue.

    To address the "true point guard" reference, the triangle offense is not really built for a "true" point guard.  More often than not, the ball is not in the point guard's hands.  The point guard in the triangle offense is more of a shooter, than anything.
