Should the MLB have non-guaranteed contracts like the NFL?

I just don't like seeing guys like Richie Sexson or Jay Gibbons getting cut loose and still sitting on millions of dollars and playing with another team that is paying them.

Are we really fed up with sports salaries or are we looking at it for what sport really is.Why do we watch and love sports?Because it is entertainment.Now if we look at it for the venue that it is then the salaries are OK with me.4pm in the afternoon I have a choice.I can watch Opra Winfrey with her givewaways and feel good stories or maybe an argument or two or I can watch the Cubbies play the Astros with an untold story and 18 different entertainers at once.Throw in Lou Pinella and Ive got 19 entertainers,a couple announcers and maybe some fans doing entertaining things.I can watch this game with a total payroll of $150 million a year in payroll or I can watch Opra Winfrey with her $250 million a year payroll.Im taking sports.Sports is still pretty innocent.You get your bad boys and law breakers but hey I want my kid playing sports instead of drugs.Most sports today still emphasize education to move forward.If I classify sports as entertainment (what it trully is) the salaries really are'nt that bad.Id rather my son want to be like Alex Rodriguez or Alber Pujols who is a stand up guy than say Susan Suranden who supports abortion,drug use and all the fly by night rights in the world.Sports payrolls dont bother me.I think that Hollywood is more distiurbing than athletes.
