  1. Absolutely not. There is no reason for the NFL to do such as thing. People are going to go regardless of gas prices. They may lose money on concessions, but not much.

    More importantly, the NFL would be more than happy to have people  stay at home to watch the games. TV ad revenues are much more important to the NFL than live attendance, and more people watching from home means more money that companies are willing to spend on TV deals. Very little of an NFL team's income comes from attendance. The only time they care is when attendance falls below "unfit for broadcast" levels, but that rarely happens in the NFL; it's too popular.


  2. are you serious? It's peoples CHOICE to go to games, if you don't want to spend money on extra gas, then don't go to the football game. It's as simple as that.

    It's not like anyone is forcing them to go to games.

  3. That's the dumbest question I've ever heard. Why would they do that. People would still attend the games.

  4. No, they don't need too. Gas prices won't keep the fans away, if it does, there are other fans that will take their place.
